Toronto police have seized counterfeit goods valued at approximately $12 million as part of an investigation dubbed "Project Pace II."

Hundreds of items, ranging from fake designer purses to knock-off jewelry, were seized during investigations across the Greater Toronto Area.

Among the counterfeit goods were dozens of items featuring the Toronto Blue Jays logo, Toronto Police Supt. Bryce Evans said Tuesday.

They also recovered items with the logos of Beats by Dre, Coach, Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Chanel, Kate Spade, Tiffany & Co, Michael Kores and UGG.

The investigation also included appliances sold at Toronto Kitchen Queen stores, including dozens of ovens with falsified safety certificates that was announced last week.

Project Pace II was a joint investigation between other law enforcement agencies, private agencies and intellectual property rights owners. The project's name is an acronym for "Partners Against Counterfeit Everywhere," police said.
